I've heard warhammer online ( link ) was coming out a few years ago, its release date is 18 sep i think, im planning to have a go at it with a few friends.
any thoughts?

this is another way of looking at it
Team MX equals 'team mandown', the team bit is self explanitory, we're a team of noobs, the 'M' stands for man, which alot of us are (apart from the women, but nobody says 'woman down' or 'woman overboard, but maybe peolpe should' and the 'X' bit with the funny squiggle stands for down. Down as in crossed out. Because an X also looks like a cross.

think they actually are making a war 40k online game but thats still in devolpement by thq and the third person space marine game? you on about dawn of war 2 ? anyway on subject the game is nice in all but still paying to play the game every month like it was a gym membership is kinda ghey

dawn of war 2 is guna be fantastic! i have DoW and all expansions! fantastic game! was a refreshment on the strategy front for me! C&C was losing it a bit! altho supreme commander was good :d

it is a bit gay but i like to think of it as buying a game every month, so if you spend say 15 hours per week on it, thats 60 per month for around £10, its good value for money. i remember when the first CoD came out, it was kinda short and it was over in about 10 hours or so

Nope I mean Warhammer 40k: Space Marine.

Pretty sure I didn't mention DoW2, which isn' a third person shooter, its just a slight variation to the current DoW's.

oh btw i always end up having a money crysis on those type of games xD one minute i have like 1 mil in cash off the in game currency then i spend it on something crap or accidently buy something i cant use ... but i will give it a crack when i decide what race to pick and what job

i've managed to steer clear of mmorrpgomgwtf games so far, but, if theres one that would draw me in, it would be warhammer 40k.

may give this one a trial, just to see what these are all about. how do you start? do you have to pick a server to play on? how do i find out who plays on what?

you get a list of servers not ones like css but like ones named asgard 1 and crap from the makers of the game and you get friends list which willo most likely tell you whos on and which server or land or what ever

Aswell as play CSS, I also play WOW.
Call it what u want but i enjoy MMORPGS.
I stopped playin wow about a 2 months ago to giv the new War ago. but it just isnt my style of MMORPGS. Im a Big PVP fan, but warhammer is a bit of a joke, and is far to easy compared to WOW imho.

o well every man to his own.

Hey Six I used to play WOW for a couple of years and then I played LOTRO for about 1yr and a half I recommend it if you like WOW. I also played Age Of Conan that has a lot of gore and a good combat system im on a break from them at the moment thou

Imagine This:
Going to a massive game server, where everyone knows everyone else, its all taken in a good manner and there to be enjoyed. The way Gaming should be. Thats what we do every day!

Like None Other
Team MX is like no other 'clan' ever conceived, we are a team, Team MX. We're probably the largest UK clan ever, we have over 170 team members with well over 130 of them actively playing. Team MX is over a year old now, celabrating its first birthday in November last year. Headed up by the worlds biggest n00b, MoggieX and backed up by some outstanding n00blets, known as the core admins.

We don't recruit twats!
Quite frankly we ain't interested in matches, or 'twats' (mainly gobby teanagers, you know the ones), if this is something you're looking for, or are, you're not in the right place at all. However, IF you are a utter n00b (like I am, MoggieX) and enjoy the 'whole' online gaming expereince, where you can make friends from all over the world, then you have found yourself a new home.

A Little More About Team MX
Also quite interestingly, every Team MX member gets a limited amount of admin privilages, its been the norm for people to pay for such rights, here you get them free and you can also feel at ease that there is only small group of admins, the core admins that have the access to any player abuse commands. So you can play in realtive safety, knowing that the server you're on is patrolled by an army of admins. We have members from the ages of 9 to well past retirement, probably with an average age twice that of other clans, a prime example that this is no ordinary clan.

Joining Team MX
We don't let just any old person join, you have to prove yourself over a long period of time. If you're turning up here thinking you're going to join us in a few days, you're sorely mistaken. In most cases it takes over a month to be recruited and thats just the lucky ones! People (not players) rarely leave Team MX, if they do, we never really seem to get rid of them, lol.
