I loved the orignal Fallout games and have been waitng for the new one for literally years...

played it at the weekend and Ive got to say... I'm undecided on whether its a masterpiece or a bit of a mutated Rad-turkey.

Anyone else got any feedback for this?

um it's OK - i guess the more you play the more addicted you may get

the vats system is cool for slow mo deaths

gfx are nowt to shout bout - ps make sure you have v-sync on and set video drivers to match otherwise you may get constant crashing

Just got this at the weekend and sorry cant agree with the bad graphics, mine is set on high and its very purdy also I have had no problems with crashing or anything else just seems to work fine.

I think it is interesting the choices you are presented and the many different outcomes you can spark from one little piece of dialogue. I keep thinking of making another save game and just being really mean and stealing and breaking into anything lol. I have a friend who is playing it as well so I know not to do what he does unless I want key people to die

Also voice acting is on a par with Mass Effect no cringyness in sight well worth a punt this is my first fallout so I have no idea what the old ones are like but this is the sort of action RPG I can get my teeth stuck into.

Oh Im totally into Fallout 3 now though!

Im still unsure of whether i like it more than the originals, but it is a very good game.

I just love anything thats got that post apocolyptic vibe though

Im also playing:

- Left 4 Dead,
- Far Cry 2
- Stalker: Clear Sky

and I want the following:

- Call of Duty: World at War
- Tomb Raider: Underworld
- Football Manager 2009

And on top of all that I want to find time to come back to CS:S...

heheh not just atomic war... zombies, plagues meteor strikes... all good

Well maybe not good.. but fun settings for games/films/fiction

I actually replayed the old fallout games recently while I was waiting for this one to come out and I still loved them, in all their isometric beauty!!!

Fallout3 is awesome with plenty of replayability. At the mo im a gun slinger. Hat n all. Next play through im gonna be a bad mother fecker and sneak around putting live grenades into peoples pockets!

i am a cannibal, i hace a shishkebab, which jus burns ghouls, i have a ghoul mask so that the feral ghouls cant see me and hurt people!!


the rockit gun is good at shottin junk but not accurate at all and it counts as a big gun, i think!

Going to a massive game server, where everyone knows everyone else, its all taken in a good manner and there to be enjoyed. The way Gaming should be. Thats what we do every day!

Like None Other
Team MX is like no other 'clan' ever conceived, we are a team, Team MX. We're probably the largest UK clan ever, we have over 170 team members with well over 130 of them actively playing. Team MX is over a year old now, celabrating its first birthday in November last year. Headed up by the worlds biggest n00b, MoggieX and backed up by some outstanding n00blets, known as the core admins.

We don't recruit twats!
Quite frankly we ain't interested in matches, or 'twats' (mainly gobby teanagers, you know the ones), if this is something you're looking for, or are, you're not in the right place at all. However, IF you are a utter n00b (like I am, MoggieX) and enjoy the 'whole' online gaming expereince, where you can make friends from all over the world, then you have found yourself a new home.

A Little More About Team MX
Also quite interestingly, every Team MX member gets a limited amount of admin privilages, its been the norm for people to pay for such rights, here you get them free and you can also feel at ease that there is only small group of admins, the core admins that have the access to any player abuse commands. So you can play in realtive safety, knowing that the server you're on is patrolled by an army of admins. We have members from the ages of 9 to well past retirement, probably with an average age twice that of other clans, a prime example that this is no ordinary clan.

Joining Team MX
We don't let just any old person join, you have to prove yourself over a long period of time. If you're turning up here thinking you're going to join us in a few days, you're sorely mistaken. In most cases it takes over a month to be recruited and thats just the lucky ones! People (not players) rarely leave Team MX, if they do, we never really seem to get rid of them, lol.
